EF presentation and level test

Hi from the lobby in EF english school in Malta.
Today its sunny with 15º celsius.

Classes starts every week... today there is a nice new group 25 people aprox. People from Spain, Belgium, Italy and Russia... with ages between 21 and 60, mostly spanish and belgian with and stimated average age of 28. They are going to stay from 2 weeks to 5 months, mostly 4 months...

The staff of EF is very kind, we did a 45 minutes level test early in the mornig (listening, reading and understanding test), then we do a short (1 hour) tour on foot with a guide that shows us several associated shops and facilities.

When we went back to the school i was assigned to the course level and i had my time table (see the photo)

There are 3 levels begginer, intermediate and advanced, divided in 18 subgroups.
i was assigned to "upper intermediatte 3" level more or less the 11th level out of 18, i think it is great... how much will i improve?

we have free internet here at school and a lot of services have discount all around St Julian´s (food, drinks, clothes, gym,...) showing your student card.

i look forward to start the classes, my first class is Pronounciation and vocabubary at 13:00 h

See you

Wow, Chappi - level 11 (upper intermediate)! That's fantastic. Hopefully, with an already good level of understanding of English, you will learn how an English person speaks English. Y'know - all those strange phrases and phrasal verbs that can mean more than one thing, according to the context of the conversation.

We, take advantage of what seems to have started as a great opportunity.
